Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth, manage client relationships, and secure new revenue opportunities. In this role, you will lead business development initiatives, coordinate across multiple teams, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet client needs. You will also play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow by overseeing accounts receivable from strategic clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Strategy
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts and high-value prospects
Develop and present proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender submissions
Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activity, and identify growth opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that address client requirements
Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing
Client Relationship Management
Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention
Understand client business objectives and provide value-added recommendations
Coordinate meetings, presentations, and appointments with clients
Proactively resolve client concerns and escalate issues as necessary
Revenue & Accounts Oversight
Track and manage sales pipelines, opportunities, and revenue performance
Oversee accounts receivable for key clients and ensure timely follow-up on payments
Work closely with finance teams to ensure billing, invoicing, and collections are accurate and on time
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and payments
Team & Process Coordination
Coordinate with project, operations, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of products/services
Support management with sales reporting, market insights, and strategic planning
Contribute to process improvements for efficiency in sales, client management, and collections
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
3–5 years of experience in business development, sales management, or client-facing roles
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and digital sales platforms
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence key stakeholders
