IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide first-level technical support for computers, laptops, software, email, printers, Microsoft 365 and general IT-related issues.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity issues, escalating to external vendors where necessary.
Respond to ad hoc IT support requests in a timely manner.
Staff Onboarding & Offboarding
Prepare, configure and deploy laptops and desktops for new employees.
Install required software, email accounts and peripherals.
Format, reset and clean returned computers for reassignment.
Ensure all computers are updated and configured according to company standards.
IT Asset Management
Maintain an inventory of company IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, monitors and accessories.
Keep records of assigned users, serial numbers, warranty status and equipment condition.
Organise and manage the Company's IT storage area.
Assess existing computers and recommend whether they should be reused, upgraded, repaired or disposed of.
Preventive Maintenance
Perform periodic health checks on company computers, including Windows updates, antivirus, storage, RAM and battery health.
Maintain software licences and standard software installations.
Identify recurring issues and recommend preventive improvements.
Vendor Coordination & Procurement
Liaise with external IT vendors for repairs, servicing and warranty claims.
Assist in sourcing IT equipment and obtaining quotations.
Set up and test new IT equipment before deployment.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain simple documentation on IT assets, software installations and common troubleshooting procedures.
Recommend improvements to IT processes, hardware and software to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates without formal qualifications but with relevant hands-on experience are encouraged to apply.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support or IT Administration is preferred.
Familiar with Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Outlook or eM Client, printers and basic networking.
Strong troubleshooting, organisational and communication skills.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Working Arrangement
One fixed weekday per week (8:30 am – 6:00 pm) preferred.
Additional ad hoc support may be required for urgent IT matters or staff onboarding.
Salary
S$22–28 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Estimated S$700–1,000 per month, based on one fixed working day per week with occasional ad hoc support.
