Assembly Technician (Automation Equipment / Contract) - #1162564

Our client is a magnetic components manufacturer specializing in inductors and transformers, serving a number of different industries globally. Their global footprint allows them to produce components in multiple locations to support customers around the world and outperform industry-average lead times.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly, installation, and testing of automated robots and equipment

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly work according to technical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions

• Support troubleshooting activities and identify assembly or equipment issues

• Assist Engineers in machine commissioning, start-up, and equipment validation activities

• Carry out inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and operational requirements

• Identify errors, recommend corrective actions, and support continuous process improvements

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures

• Maintain proper documentation and records related to assembly and testing activities
  

Requirements:

• NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related disciplines

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in equipment assembly, machine building, automation, manufacturing, or related environments

• Experience in the electronics, semiconductor, automation, or precision engineering industry will be advantageous
