Responsibilities

• Lead contract administration for design-and-build underground infrastructure projects
• Oversee and manage the Contract Department across the full project lifecycle
• Mentor and guide Quantity Surveyors to achieve contractual and financial targets
• Review contract terms to identify risks, gaps, and commercial opportunities
• Lead negotiations with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on contract matters
• Prepare and manage variation orders (VOs), Extension of Time (EOT) claims, and loss & expense claims
• Oversee procurement processes, including drafting Letters of Award and managing subcontractor payments
• Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic contractual advice to project teams
• Manage contractual correspondence and represent the company in meetings
• Drive final account negotiations and ensure timely closure of main contracts and subcontracts
• Propose and implement value engineering initiatives
• Execute corrective and preventive actions to meet project and business objectives

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale civil infrastructure projects
• At least 5 years of experience in LTA MRT projects as a main contractor representative
• Strong knowledge of LTA MRT contracts and Singapore Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC)
• Proven experience handling claims, variation orders, and contract negotiations
• Experience managing contract teams and overseeing Quantity Surveying functions
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
