About The Role
A well-established SGX-listed organization is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its Executive Leadership Team.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with the Board of Directors, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s financial strategy, governance, and operations, ensuring sustainable growth and shareholder value creation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership
• Partner the CEO and Board on corporate strategy, business planning, and long-term growth initiatives
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
• Drive value creation and optimise capital allocation across the Group
Financial Management & Group Reporting
• Oversee the full spectrum of finance functions including accounting, treasury, tax, and FP&A
• Lead Group consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
• Ensure compliance with SGX listing requirements, SFRS(I), and statutory regulations
• Present financial performance and outlook to senior management and the Board
Corporate Governance & Compliance
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, risk management, and governance frameworks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate governance requirements
• Lead engagements with external auditors, regulators, and relevant authorities
Investor Relations & Stakeholder Management
• Act as the key contact for investors, analysts, and stakeholders
• Lead financial communications, results announcements, and annual reporting processes
• Support the Board in shareholder engagement and capital market activities
Treasury & Capital Management
• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure management
• Evaluate funding strategies, investment opportunities, and M&A transactions
• Strengthen financial discipline and risk-adjusted returns
Risk Management & Internal Controls
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks
• Oversee enterprise risk management frameworks and business continuity planning
• Safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity
Leadership & Team Development
• Provide leadership and direction to the finance organisation across the Group
• Develop high-performing teams and strengthen succession pipeline
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimisation, and digital transformation initiatives
Requirements
• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA) required
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role
• Prior experience in a listed company or regulated environment is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of SGX reporting requirements, SFRS(I), and corporate governance frameworks
• Proven track record in financial strategy, capital management, and stakeholder engagement
• Experience in managing investor relations and Board-level reporting
