JOB SCOPE:

• Assist in preparing, updating, and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.

• Ensure smooth flow of materials and components throughout the production

process.

• Adjust schedules when necessary due to material shortages, machine downtime, or changes in demand.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing to ensure timely availability of raw materials and parts.

• Work closely with the production team to check capacity availability and resource usage.

• Provide schedule updates to production, procurement, and sales teams.

• Highlight production delays, potential bottlenecks, or risks to relevant departments.

• Track production output, efficiency, and quality-related key performance indicators.

• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help reduce waste, delays, or unnecessary costs.

• Assist in implementing contingency plans during disruptions such as machine breakdowns or manpower issues.

• Ensure planning activities adhere to safety, quality, and company compliance standards.

• Prepare basic production reports and documentation for internal review.

REQUIREMENTS:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations is an advantage.

• Basic understanding of production processes, material flow, and capacity planning.

• Familiarity with ERP or planning systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Able to work under pressure and adapt to changes in production demand.

• Strong teamwork, responsibility, and willingness to support shop floor operations.

• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts. (7:20-7:20)
