Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) / Gov Sector - #1162210

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support enterprise infrastructure platforms, including compute, storage, virtualisation, backup, and disaster recovery environments.
• Administer and optimise VMware/Hyper-V platforms, ensuring system performance, availability, security, and operational stability.
• Provide L2/L3 support, incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and platform maintenance activities.
• Support infrastructure modernisation initiatives, cloud adoption, and platform transformation projects aligned with enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and resilient infrastructure services while maintaining documentation and operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or systems engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with enterprise infrastructure, virtualisation technologies (VMware/Hyper-V), and platform operations.
• Experience in L2/L3 support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security, backup, disaster recovery, and patch management practices.
• Exposure to automation, scripting, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible), cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) would be greatly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
