Buyer (Established MNC, East) - #1162198

Our client is one of the leader in the semicon industry, they are seeking for an experienced direct buyer to assist with business.

Contract: 12 months

Location: Upper Changi

Salary up to $5000

Job Responsibilities

• Perform direct purchasing of production‑related parts, spares, and components.

• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP based on approved pricing and supplier lead times.

• Ensure suppliers receive the latest approved drawings, specifications, and BOMs.

• Manage supplier delivery schedules and maintain accurate updates in SAP.

• Follow established procurement processes for delivery tracking, ECN implementation, FAI, and GR/IR follow‑ups.

• Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to support production needs and inventory plans.

• Review engineering drawings, part specifications, and material requirements.

• Support cost reduction initiatives and assist in identifying or recommending new suppliers.

Requirements

• Experience in direct materials purchasing or buyer roles in a manufacturing environment.

• Hands‑on experience with SAP; Teamcenter/PLM access is required.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.

• Strong coordination and communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
