Snapshot of Responsibilities:
Collaborate with system engineers to define mechanical system and sub-system specifications.
Lead mechanical component selection, tolerance analysis, motion system design, component evaluation, system integration, and release to manufacturing and customer installation.
Supervise internal or external design partners in co-development projects.
Manage vendors or contractors to deliver sub-systems meeting design and reliability requirements.
Provide escalation support during equipment assembly, validation, and on-site customer operations.
About You:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in semiconductor or automation products.
Experience in wafer fabrication, semiconductor equipment, or medical equipment is preferred.
Strong mechanical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, knowledge of stack tolerance, and Finite Element Analysis experience.
Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD tools.
Experience with vision applications, thermal modeling, and measurement techniques is a plus.
Hands-on approach and willingness to work extended hours during critical project phases.
Excellent communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.
