Senior Production Planner - #1162169

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into actionable production and material plans

• Plan and manage material requirements based on orders, forecasts, and capacity constraints

• Monitor demand and supply changes, and provide proactive recommendations

• Adjust plans to prevent shortages or excess inventory

• Execute ERP/MRP planning to ensure timely material and production readiness

• Support engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and new product introductions (NPI)

• Work closely with Sales, Production, Procurement, and Logistics to ensure on-time delivery (OTD)

• Manage rescheduling and planning changes to optimise service levels, revenue, and inventory

• Resolve supply bottlenecks with cross-functional teams

• Track and achieve KPIs (OTD, response time, inventory turns)

• Provide clear commit updates to Inside Sales and Business Units

• Support smooth manufacturing operations with Production and Engineering

• Participate in planning and review meetings with data-driven insights

• Drive inventory control and reduce obsolescence

• Identify gaps and improve planning processes (e.g. S&OP, MRP optimisation)

• Support system and digitalisation initiatives

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field

• 5 to 8 years of experience in production/material planning in manufacturing

• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, LN) preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Excel and data analysis

• Able to manage complexity and drive change

• Experience in automated or high-volume environments is an advantage

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and improve processes
