1. Facilities Maintenance and Management
o Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the company’s buildings, equipment, and surrounding areas.
o Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance works.
o Ensure all facilities systems (electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, etc.) are functioning efficiently.
2. New Facility Setup / Renovation
o Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising renovation or upgrading works for new or existing facilities.
o Oversee all facilities-related works for the new factory, including planning, renovation, installation, and commissioning of systems and equipment.
o Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure project milestones are achieved within schedule and budget.
o Ensure that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil works comply with statutory regulations and company standards.
o Liaise with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely completion within budget and compliance standards.
3. Project Coordination
o Assist in reviewing building plans, layout, and design to ensure optimal space utilization and operational efficiency.
o Monitor progress of construction and renovation works; perform site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
o Prepare and update project schedules, reports, and documentation for management review.
4. Regulatory and Compliance
o Liaise with government agencies (e.g., BCA, NEA, SCDF, PUB) for permits, inspections, and approvals related to the new factory building.
o Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and fire safety regulations.
o Maintain all statutory documents, licenses, and certificates related to building operations
5. Asset and Space Management
o Maintain inventory and records of facility assets, tools, and equipment.
o Plan and manage space allocation, office layout, and seating arrangements for staff.
6. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
o Ensure compliance with workplace safety, fire safety, and environmental regulations.
o Conduct regular inspections and follow-up on corrective actions for any safety-related issues.
o Maintain records and support audits or inspections by relevant authorities.
7. Asset and Space Management
o Maintain inventory and records of facility assets, tools, and equipment.
o Plan and manage space allocation, office layout, and seating arrangements for staff.
8. Vendor and Contract Management
o Source, evaluate, and manage service providers for cleaning, pest control, security, landscaping, etc.
o Review contracts, quotations, and performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
9. Administrative Support
o Prepare reports, maintenance schedules, and documentation related to facilities operations.
o Support budgeting, procurement, and cost-control activities for facility-related expenses.
10. Emergency and Ad Hoc Duties
o Respond to facility-related emergencies promptly to minimize downtime.
o Carry out any other tasks or projects assigned by Management.
