About Genie Education Hub

Genie Education Hub is looking for a passionate and engaging Part-Time Math Tutor to join our Yishun outlet. We are seeking someone who can teach students from Primary 4 Math up to Secondary 4 E-Math and A-Math, while creating a positive, encouraging, and student-friendly learning environment.

We place strong emphasis on clear explanation, patience, and student engagement. Beyond strong Math ability, we are looking for tutors who can connect well with students, explain concepts in a relatable way, and help students gain confidence in Math.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Math classes from Primary 4 to Secondary 4

• Teach Primary Math, Secondary E-Math, and/or A-Math depending on suitability

• Deliver lessons in a clear, engaging, and patient manner

• Help students understand concepts, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build confidence

• Create a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback where needed

• Review lesson materials before class

• Support students with questions and clarify misconceptions

Requirements

• Strong ability in Math

• Able to teach at least Primary Math and/or Secondary Math

• Ability to teach Secondary 3/4 E-Math or A-Math will be an advantage

• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred

• University students, fresh graduates, and graduates are welcome to apply

• Strong communication skills and good student engagement

• Patient, responsible, and passionate about teaching

• Able to commit to regular weekly classes

• Able to work weekday evenings and/or weekends

• Able to travel to and teach at our Yishun outlet

Ideal Candidate

You enjoy teaching and are comfortable working with students of different learning abilities. You are able to break down Math concepts clearly, explain solutions step by step, and encourage students who may lack confidence.

You are not just strong in Math, but also able to communicate well, build rapport with students, and make lessons effective and enjoyable.

Compensation

$40 – $60 per hour, depending on experience, teaching ability, level taught, and suitability for the role.

Tutors who are able to confidently teach upper secondary E-Math and A-Math may be considered for higher rates.
