We perform advanced surgical treatments, oncology, orthopaedics, and wellness services. Our team of experienced professionals is committed to delivering the highest quality care and improving the lives of pets and their families.
We have all the usual equipment needed to provide the exceptional level of care our clients expect (including digital x-ray, in-house bloods machine, ultrasound, endoscopy, dentals etc). We see exclusively dogs and cats only. Come work in one of the few ISFM Cat Friendly clinic!
About the role
As the Clinic Manager at Hope Veterinary Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional client care to our lovely clientele.
Get to know the quirks & cuddles of our patients and clients, and provide treats and personalised follow-up after their visit. Share your knowledge with clients, making them feel like pet pros. Collaborate with a tight-knit veterinary professionals to provide Excellent Front-of-the-house reception to our clients and furry friends
What you'll be doing with our clients
Perform reception duties, scheduling of appointments, registration, dispensing of medication, payment collection, and administrative duties relating to patient/client
Educating clients on pet care, nutrition, and preventative health. On-the-job training will be provided.
Handle escalations with empathy and professionalism, ensuring swift service recovery and follow-up.
Coordinate monthly administrative matters, including the reconciliation of accounts payable and receivables.
Perform other ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned to improve client experience
What you'll be doing with our team through operational Excellence:
Oversee the full scope of clinic operations — patient scheduling, Doctor/consult room utilisation, service flow, and overall clinic efficiency.
Implement and monitor SOPs, KPIs, and service standards to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent patient experience.
Work in partnership with clinic staff members to ensure the delivery of quality patient care and services.
Assist the Client Care Manager and Head Vet in the implementation of policies, procedures, and systems for all operational areas of the clinic
Oversee and supervise the training and development of clinic staff members.
Assist to conduct interviews, performance reviews, identify training needs and further the team's aspiration in their training request
What we're looking for
Previous clinical supervisory / managerial experience ideal; Prior experience in a healthcare setting would be advantageous. It is not necessary to have related veterinary field
Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and client service skills
A structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset.
Good understanding of clinic operations, manpower planning, and patient service management.
A genuine passion for animal welfare and providing high-quality care
