Key Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and optimize advanced coating systems using HVOF, thermal spray, and related surface engineering technologies.

• Investigate coating failures, including adhesion issues, corrosion, cracking, blistering, peeling, and environmental degradation, and implement effective corrective actions.

• Partner with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and global engineering teams to introduce new coating processes and resolve production challenges.

• Provide technical expertise and support to internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on coating performance and application methods.

• Prepare technical reports, qualification documentation, test plans, and engineering recommendations.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on coating quality, process efficiency, product reliability, and lifecycle performance.

• Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify innovative solutions for complex manufacturing and repair processes.

• Mentor junior engineers and support project execution while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.

• 5–10 years of experience in HVOF, thermal spray, coatings, or surface engineering technologies.

• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proven experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing CAPA initiatives.
