Job Overview:
HomeTeamNS is seeking a proactive and commercially driven Assistant Manager to support the growth and strategic development of its Cohesion & Teambuilding business through programme development, operational excellence and stakeholder management. The role includes identifying opportunities to expand programmes and partnerships, liaising with internal and external stakeholders on business and operational needs, overseeing day-to-day delivery standards, managing team performance, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support business growth and strategic initiatives for the Cohesion & Teambuilding portfolio by identifying opportunities to expand programmes, partnerships and revenue streams, while contributing to planning efforts that strengthen market reach and business performance.
• Drive the design, review and enhancement of cohesion and teambuilding programmes to ensure offerings remain relevant, engaging and aligned with customer needs, business objectives and service standards.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on business and operational requirements, build strong working relationships, and coordinate resources to ensure timely and effective execution of programmes and related initiatives.
• Oversee the end-to-end operational delivery of programmes, including scheduling, deployment of manpower, venue and logistics coordination, safety compliance, and service readiness to ensure smooth and consistent execution.
• Supervise, guide and support facilitators, part-timers and operations staff, ensuring clear work allocation, effective coordination, capability development and high standards of performance.
• Monitor programme performance, utilisation and financial indicators, and support budget planning, cost control and revenue tracking to achieve business and operational targets and prepare management reports to support business planning.
Job Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality, Sports Management or a related discipline or minimum 2 years of junior management experience in business development, events, training, teambuilding or related industries
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external parties.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with experience in preparing management reports, tracking performance and supporting business decisions.
• Able to oversee operations, coordinate multiple priorities and ensure smooth execution of programmes and business initiatives.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise, guide and develop team members to achieve operational and business objectives.
