Job Overview:
HomeTeamNS is seeking a commercially driven and results-oriented Business Manager to lead the growth, profitability and operations of its Adventure Attractions. The role is accountable for business performance, revenue generation, customer experience and operational excellence, while ensuring the sustainable growth of the businesses.
The successful candidate must possess strong business acumen, leadership capabilities and operational expertise, with the ability to balance strategic planning, stakeholder management and hands-on execution.
Responsibilities:
Enhance overall business performance for assigned facilities and programmes by driving revenue growth, increasing profitability, maximizing facility utilization, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Achieve these objectives through effective business planning, strategic sales initiatives, targeted promotions, and dynamic business development activities.
Oversee the financial performance of business units by managing budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, as well as analyzing business trends. Identify and leverage opportunities to enhance revenue, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure safe, efficient and customer-centric service delivery, while maintaining compliance with operational, safety, licensing and regulatory requirements.
Lead, coach and develop managers and frontline teams, fostering a high-performance culture through effective manpower planning, performance management, staff engagement and development.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, government agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders to support business growth and operational excellence.
Prepare business proposals, reports and presentations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational effectiveness and overall business outcomes.
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Recreation & Sports, Operations Managements or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business management, attractions, hospitality, recreation, leisure, events or related industries.
• At least 3 years of experience managing teams in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Proven experience managing a P&L and being directly accountable for revenue, costs and business performance.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial reports, develop business strategies and drive revenue growth.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing operations, customer service and service delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, resourceful and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Comfortable making decisions, solving problems and driving change in a dynamic operating environment.
