Responsibilities:
Assist in design, implement, and evaluate training programs to upskill employees and align workforce capabilities with business goals
Conduct training needs feedback, assessment and analysis, facilitate both in-person and virtual workshops/trainings, and measure program effectiveness
Collaborate with departments to identify skill gaps and evaluate the training through feedback and metrics
Direct the creation and implementation of talent management strategies, plans and budget
Assist in formulating and communicating talent management related policies
Identify and implement strategies to attract, develop and retain talent
Participate in campus recruitment fairs for graduate engineers and intern intake
Build strong networks with educational institutions such as universities to build corporate branding
Plan, facilitate and administer yearly internal and external training program as well as logistics matters
Maintain detailed training records and provide reports on training progress and impact
Manage training requests and maintain records of training grants/subsidies
Liaise with training providers on course registration and payments. Collaborate with internal / external parties to ensure the training programs align with the grant guidelines
Stay updated with the latest training grant opportunities, industry-based training requirements
Handle registration, maintain detailed staff training/attendance records, and ensure records are up to date in the Learning Management System
Prepare and monitor budget and utilization for all training courses
Manage both internal and external yearly training audits
Facilitate staff orientation and briefings for new hires
Provide full spectrum of administrative support in relations to Talent Management
Support staff engagement activities and welfare matters
Provide support on other People & Culture functions and areas as assigned
Requirements:
Degree in Human Resources Management, ACTA or equivalent
Proven experience especially in talent management, preferably in construction industry
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Meticulous, detailed and able to handle confidential information
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently
Mindset to work in a digital environment
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use training metrics and performance data to evaluate program effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes
