Senior Operations Executive , Freight Forwarding - #1161176

Job Summary:

The Senior Operations Executive, Freight Forwarding plans and executes air freight projects while overseeing end-to-end air and sea freight operations, including bookings, carrier coordination,customs documentation, regulatory compliance, shipment tracking, and final delivery. This role ensures compliance with regulations and SOPs, manages operational risks and escalations, and coordinates with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery. The incumbent also prepares reports on project status, operational performance, risks, and financial impact, and ensures accurate documentation and formal project closure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project & Operations Management

• Plan, manage, and execute airfreight-related projects from initiation through delivery and formal completion.

• Oversee end-to-end air and seafreight operations. This includes managing bookings, carrier/airline coordination, shipping and customs documentation, regulatory clearance,real-time shipment tracking, and final delivery.

• Ensure full compliance with all applicable international and local regulations, carrier-specific requirements,internal SOPs, and client-specific protocols across all modes of transport.

• Manage operational risks,exceptions, and escalations to ensure service continuity.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders including Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Billing,and IT to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Engage and manage external partners such as airlines, ground handlers, freight agents, and overseas offices.

3. Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on project status, operational performance, risks, and financial impact.

• Ensure accurate documentation,billing alignment, and formal project closure with internal and customersign-off.
