About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced heavy equipment and automotive environment. The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to work closely with workshop and parts teams to ensure efficient inventory control and timely support for operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead warehouse/store personnel, assigning daily tasks and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.

  • Oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and issuance of heavy-duty equipment parts and materials.

  • Adopt a hands-on approach in supporting daily warehouse activities alongside supervisory duties.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, including proper handling of heavy equipment, tools, and materials.

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic stock takes to maintain inventory accuracy.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all inventory movements (inbound, outbound, transfers, and returns).

  • Establish and maintain a proper filing and record system to ensure traceability of all warehouse documents.

  • Work closely with the Parts, Operations, and Workshop teams to ensure smooth coordination of inventory and job requirements.

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages or overstock situations.

  • Plan and optimize warehouse layout, including racking systems, to maximize storage capacity and accessibility.

  • Allocate storage space effectively for incoming shipments, including bulky and heavy-duty components.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.

  • Investigate quality issues, damages, discrepancies, and non-conformances; implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.

  • Supervise, guide, and train warehouse staff on operational procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.

  • Enforce discipline, housekeeping (5S), and safe work practices within the warehouse.

  • Identify training needs and support skills development for warehouse personnel.


Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in heavy equipment, automotive, or engineering environment.

  • Prior supervisory experience is required.

  • Proficient in inventory systems / ERP (e.g. SAP, Auto Count, or similar systems).

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and documentation processes.

  • Hands-on, responsible, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented, organised, and committed to maintaining high accuracy.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

  • Possession of a valid forklift license will be an added advantage.

  • Comfortable working in a workshop / industrial environment (Tuas area).

  • Experience in automotive, engineering, heavy equipment, or spare parts industry will be an added advantage.

  • Candidates who are able to start work within short notice will be preferred.

  • Able to communicate in Mandarin to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, customers, and workers.

  • 确保遵守工作场所安全标准,包括重型设备、工具及物料的正确操作与处理。

  • 定期进行循环盘点及全面库存盘点,确保库存数据准确。

  • 负责所有库存进出(入库、出库、调拨及退货)的记录与文件管理,确保及时及准确。

  • 建立并维护完善的文件归档系统,确保所有仓库文件可追溯及易于查找。

  • 与零件部门、运营部门及车间团队紧密合作,确保库存相关工作顺畅进行。

  • 监控库存水平,并与零件团队协调补货,避免缺货或库存过剩。

  • 规划及优化仓库布局(包括货架系统),提升空间利用率及作业效率。

  • 合理分配存储空间,特别是针对体积大或重型的货物与零件。

  • 推动持续改善措施,提高仓库运作效率、准确性及整体生产力。

  • 调查质量问题、货物损坏、差异及不符合项,并落实纠正与预防措施。

  • 确保符合工作场所安全、环境政策及相关法规要求。

  • 监督、指导并培训仓库员工,使其掌握操作流程、质量标准及安全规范。

  • 在仓库内落实纪律管理、5S管理及安全作业规范。

  • 识别培训需求并支持仓库人员的技能发展。


职位要求

  • 至少3–5年相关仓库工作经验,具备重型设备、汽车或工程行业经验者优先。

  • 具备仓库或物流团队管理经验。

  • 熟悉库存管理系统或ERP系统(如SAP、Auto Count或其他系统)。

  • 熟悉仓库运作流程、库存控制及文件管理。

  • 工作积极主动,具责任心,能够独立完成工作。

  • 细心、有条理,注重数据准确性。

  • 能在快节奏环境下工作并承受一定压力。

  • 持有叉车执照者优先考虑。

  • 能适应车间 / 工业环境(大士地区)。

  • 有汽车、工程、重型设备或零配件行业经验者优先考虑。

  • 能短时间内上班者优先考虑。

  • 能使用华语沟通,以便与华语供应商、客户及员工协调工作。
