About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead finance and accounting operations in Singapore while supporting selected accounting activities across the APAC region. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with regional stakeholders and contribute to business performance through strong financial governance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full-set accounting functions and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.

• Review general ledger transactions, journal entries, accruals, payroll accounting, inventory accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS), GST regulations, corporate tax requirements, and internal financial policies.

• Coordinate external audits, tax filings, statutory reporting, and regulatory compliance matters.

• Support regional reporting requirements, including U.S. GAAP reporting and intercompany reconciliations.

• Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with SOX and audit requirements.

• Manage cash flow planning, banking relationships, treasury activities, and payment processes.

• Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making.

• Review and guide finance team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

• Drive continuous improvements in financial processes, reporting capabilities, and system enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is advantageous.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance functions.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, compliance, audit, and internal control requirements.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work independently and effectively in a dynamic business environment.
