Working Hours: 6 days per week, 11 hours per day (including OT)

Type of Establishment: Halal-Certified Restaurant

Job Requirements

We are looking for dedicated individuals who meet the following criteria:

• Prior experience in F&B is an advantage; training will be provided for candidates without experience.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong understanding of food health and safety regulations.

• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Highly organized with strong time management abilities.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, the eve of public holidays, and on public holidays.

• Possession of a food hygiene certificate is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Preparing and handling a wide variety of ingredients.

• Cooking techniques such as baking, grilling, steaming, and deep-frying meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods.

• Prepping ingredients for menu items and ensuring adequate quantities to minimize wastage.

• Ensuring food portions and presentations align with company standards.

• Verifying the freshness and quality of ingredients and final products.

• Monitoring inventory and reordering stock when necessary.

• Properly storing and handling ingredients at the correct temperatures to prevent spoilage.

• Adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Welcoming and serving customers with professionalism.

• Upholding quality, excellent service, and cleanliness standards at all times.

• Ensuring compliance with MUIS Halal Certification requirements.

• Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Manager.
