Senior Commissioning Coordinator (Construction) - #1160644

The Senior Commissioning Coordinator is responsible for leading the testing and commissioning of M&E works at site in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand contract requirements and M&E specifications in order to monitor progress, quality of workmanship and compliance with project requirements/construction schedule.

• Liaise with design consultants and the commissioning agent on the design and commissioning intent.

• Understand all the essential code of practices and relevant authority requirements for submissions of documents and inspections.

• Coordinate with in-house architectural & structural team to minimize discrepancies.

• Able to manage and solve complex problems at site.

• Testing and commissioning (Cx) of M&E systems and services (i.e. Cx L1 to L5)

• Check and prepare material sample with shop drawing submission.

• Lead M&E coordination meeting on commissioning related matters.

• Manage internal and external on-site commissioning team.

• Prepare and submit Cx test scripts, MOS and liaise with Cx Agent and Design Consultant for approval.

• Prepare and submit daily and weekly Cx activities and progress reports.

• Coordinate and assist Cx Lead on overall Cx program and planning.

• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant discipline from a recognized University.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in coordination of M&E works with different trades (e.g. C&S & Archi) and other stakeholders (e.g. consultant and subcontractors) for large scale building projects with an A1 main contractor.

• Candidates with either mixed development, condominium or data center projects would have an added advantage.

• Good problem-solving skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, stakeholder engagement and management, communication skills and presentation skills.

• Someone who is highly resilient, adaptable and able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
