Responsibilities:

• Execute direct sales activities to achieve company targets, performance standards, and KPIs
• Participate in training programmes and performance evaluations
• Monitor sales performance and implement contingency plans where necessary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues related to operations, service, and receivables
• Engage with local and overseas offices and customers to support sales initiatives
• Prepare pricing proposals and quotations for clients
• Support the development of standard operating procedures, competitive analysis, and market research
• Assist in annual budget planning and forecasting
• Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and provide actionable sales leads
• Contribute to customer solution development to enhance business growth
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or marketing within logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding
• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
• Strong experience in market research and data analysis
• Knowledge of tank operations or leasing within the chemical industry is an added advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and stakeholder coordination
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
