Work Safety Health Officer - #1160483

About the role

This role involves managing and deploying Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) programmes across the organisation. You will analyse WSH performance data, conduct compliance inspections, coach team members on routine checks, and evaluate health and safety hazards to prioritise issues by severity. You will develop and implement actions to improve WSH performance, support audit processes, and review the effectiveness of improvements on an ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage WSH Programme - analyse data on WSH performance, conditions and practices

• Carry out WSH compliance inspections

• Coach team members on how to conduct routine checks on work activities

• Evaluate impact of health and safety hazards, including personal risk factors to employees' safety and prioritise issues based on severity

• Evaluate WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices to identify WSH performance gaps

• Recommend and implement actions to improve WSH performance and control risks

• Develop WSH training programmes and conduct trainings for safety-critical roles

• Develop and deliver safety briefings

• Develop risk management (RM) plans for work processes and work areas

• Conduct WSH incident and accident investigations

About you

• Diploma in Engineering or Specialised Diploma in WSH

• MOM Registered WSH Officer

• Minimum 3 years of experiences in the construction industry

• In-depth knowledge of ISO and safety standard

• Good team player, attentive to details and have good administrative and report writing skills

• Experienced in LTA/HDB HIP projects would be an advantage
