Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and client-oriented IT/Network Solutions Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality technical solutions across our portfolio of IT and network services. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, designing tailored solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the highest standards of delivery, performance, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving. Previous experience in the maritime or commercial shipping sector is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, pain points, and business objectives.

• Design and propose tailored IT and network solutions that align with client needs and organizational capabilities.

• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to communicate solution benefits and address client queries.

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to refine offerings based on client feedback and market demand.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, implementation instructions, and internal training materials.

• Conduct market research to stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices, feeding insights into product strategy.

• Act as a key liaison between clients and engineering teams, translating requirements into technical specifications.

• Contribute to product development by sharing customer feedback and participating in testing and validation processes.

• Ensure solutions meet high standards for quality, security, performance, and reliability through close collaboration with QA and engineering teams.

• Support pre-sales and post-sales technical activities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience in the maritime or shipping industry is desirable.

• Proven experience in a Solutions Engineer, Presales Engineer, or similar client-facing technical role.

• Solid knowledge of IT systems infrastructure, network design, and implementation.

• Demonstrated ability to translate technical solutions into commercially viable presentations.

• Strong background in solutions architecture with hands-on experience deploying and managing systems.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage time, set priorities, and coordinate travel for client engagements.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and systems/process-oriented approach.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and client-focused.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
