Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and recommend emerging network technologies through PoCs and technical assessments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and regulatory compliance for banking environments.

  • Act as the Network Architecture SME, leading end-to-end solution design, planning, deployment, and validation for mission-critical infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and support network security solutions across LAN, SD-WAN, SASE, firewalls, load balancers, network automation, and observability platforms.

  • Architect and manage advanced data center networks, including spine-leaf, VXLAN/EVPN fabrics, multi-site connectivity, and disaster recovery solutions.

  • Provide expertise in routing, switching, MPLS, Segment Routing, QoS, VRFs, network virtualization, and Zero Trust segmentation.

  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including HLDs, LLDs, standards, design principles, and operational runbooks.

  • Conduct network architecture reviews, risk assessments, performance audits, and ensure compliance with security and governance policies.

  • Support major incidents and escalations, driving root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive measures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional/APAC stakeholders, and country teams on network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and infrastructure improvements.

  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate project delivery to ensure services and solutions meet SLA and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network design, implementation, and management of large-scale network security platforms.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SASE, Cisco SD-WAN, Network Automation, and Observability solutions in large enterprise environments.

  • Strong expertise in enterprise and data center networking, including high-availability, multi-layer architectures and disaster recovery designs.

  • Proficiency with major networking and security technologies, including Cisco, F5, Check Point, Fortinet, and Palo Alto platforms.

  • Experience leading end-to-end technical delivery, with strong technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Relevant professional certifications preferred, such as CCIE (Enterprise/Security/DevNet), CCDE, or CCNP.

  • Banking or financial services experience, knowledge of ITSM practices, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as MAS, RBI, and BOT are advantageous.
