Care Concierge (Cook - Food and Beverage) - #1160099

JOB PURPOSE
A Care Concierge F&B (Food and Beverage) is responsible for attending to residents’ feeding needs.

He/she needs to keep up with relevant F&B training under Government regulatory requirements to ensure that his/her knowledge and skills remain up to date to provide residents with quality patient care.

Support resident care:

• Attend to residents individualized nutritional needs according to specific diet, with attention to IDDSI food textures.

• Cooking well balanced meals for resident according to Dietitian prescription that is both nutritious and delicious.

• Manages Household kitchen and ensures Food Safety is maintained according to SFA/MOH legal requirements.

• To provide technical advice and guidance on food related matters to ensure a positive work environment.

• Must be articulate and able to communicate directly with residents on their food requests.

• Assist in basic physiological monitoring of patients.

• Assist colleagues in resident’s non-toilet matters of daily living.
  

Support organisation function:

• Participate in quality improvement audits and activities

• Qualifications: Minimum Secondary school / ITE NITEC / GCE ‘N’ level

• Certificate (WSQ) in Food and Safety

• WSQ Diploma in Food Services (Culinary Arts)

• Candidates should in addition possess:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in F&B industry or culinary industry

• Possess basic IT skills

• Must be prepared to work 4 days work week, PH, weekend, 12-hour shifts, from 0700 to 1900 hours.

• Priority will be given to those who are willing to perform rotating shift duties or work on weekends/ public holidays.

• Able to wear N95 and/or PPE (Personal Protective Equipment, on needs basis) when in direct contact with Residents

• Must always look professional in neat and tidy uniforms.
