As a Senior Engineer in RF/mmW Device Modeling, you will play a critical role in enabling first-time design success for our customers. This position focuses on the development and delivery of high-quality device models for advanced RF/mmW technologies, including FET, LDFET and passives, supporting applications in mobile communications, IoT, automotive, and more.
Key responsibilities
Develop and validate RF/mmW device models for circuit applications such as Power Amplifiers (PA) and Low Noise Amplifiers (LNA)
Analyze and interpret RF device characteristics and measurement data
Prepare and process test data for model extraction and validation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, i.e., device engineers, modeling experts and circuit designers
Document findings and provide technical recommendations through detailed reports and presentations
Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs
Required Qualifications
Min Master's or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in RF/mmW device modeling or semiconductor characterization
Fresh graduates with strong academic/research background in semiconductor physics and device modeling are encouraged to apply
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
Hands-on experience with RF/mmW FET and LDFET modeling and/or Passives modeling
Familiarity with modeling tools and simulation environments (e.g., ICCAP, Cadence, ADS, EMX)
Knowledge of compact modeling techniques (BSIM) and RF characterization methods
Experience in working within a foundry, semiconductor R&D environment or design house
