M&E Engineer (Building Industry) - #1159883

Our client is seeking a M&E Engineer (Building Industry) to join their team!

This role offers a unique chance to lead and manage Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services projects from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in designing, budgeting, and overseeing projects, working closely with design teams and various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

What you'll be doing?

• Lead Projects: Manage M&E services projects from concept through to completion.

• Design Collaboration: Work with the design team to develop M&E services design, including equipment selection and duct and pipe sizing.

• Tender Preparation: Prepare tender scope of works, specifications, and manage tender interviews and recommendations.

• Budgeting: Prepare M&E services budget estimates and participate in value engineering to control costs.

• Site Coordination: Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design specifications and coordinate with stakeholders for smooth project execution.

• Reporting: Ensure timely submission of progress claims and completion of final accounts.

Who are they looking for?

• Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in the building / construction industry.

• Skills: Proficient in MS Office applications, AutoCAD skills are a plus. Good organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, including technical writing and presentations, to effectively communicate with clients and the project team.

• Team Player: Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and as a dedicated team player.
