Chemist – Job Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and analyze chemical experiments and material testing

• Develop, validate, and improve testing methods and laboratory procedures

• Interpret experimental data and prepare technical reports and conclusions

• Support research, product development, or process improvement activities

• Investigate test failures, non-conformances, and root causes

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and laboratory protocols

• Provide technical guidance and support to lab technologists

• Liaise with internal teams on technical findings and recommendations

Lab Technologist – Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis according to established procedures

• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions for testing

• Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment

• Record, compile, and report test results accurately and promptly

• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, safety, and proper documentation

• Manage inventory of laboratory chemicals, consumables, and equipment

• Support chemists in experiments, trials, and method development

• Follow safety guidelines and quality control procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related discipline

• Relevant laboratory experience in chemical or materials testing

• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, testing methods, and safety practices

• Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail

• Proficient in basic data recording and reporting
