Brief Summary:
Join a dynamic team as an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, where you will ensure optimal functionality of production equipment through maintenance, installation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to instructions from supervisors to deliver high-quality work.
Install and maintain instruments and electrical cabinets within the factory's facility.
Execute preventative maintenance on all production equipment, aligning with ISO, GMP, HACCP, and QHSE standards.
Actively engage in Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHSE) activities, including training and risk assessments.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations to mitigate accidents.
Lead the execution of repairs, improvement projects, and collaborate with vendors regarding work scope.
Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs for production equipment as necessary.
Implement redesigns and enhancements for equipment to improve performance while adhering to management change processes.
Monitor spare parts usage and maintain inventory control of spare parts.
Assist the procurement team in developing technical specifications for spare parts.
Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis and manage action items to prevent future breakdowns.
Prepare Safety Risk Assessments (SRA), Work Instructions (WI), and other training materials as needed.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, quality enhancements, and improved yield.
Update documentation related to installations, including instruments log sheets and electrical cabinet schemes.
Maintain technical data sheets in SAP.
Requirements:
Minimum of NITEC/Technical certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
At least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience in food, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, or similar process plants.
Strong knowledge of Plant Facility systems and equipment operations (e.g., Distributed Control System, Air Compressor, Cooling Tower, Dust Collector System).
Proficient in understanding and interpreting electrical and/or mechanical drawings and diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to work independently.
Good computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP (PM and MM modules).
Proven record in meticulous spare part inventory management.
Willingness to provide on-call emergency repair support when required.
