Senior Manager, Environmental Services - #1133746

Reporting to the Deputy Director of Environmental Services (ES), you will provide support in the operational, contractual and administrative management of the ES and Central Express (CE)/ Portering functions in the hospital.

You will be responsible to manage, coordinate and integrate the ES and Portering management with the hospital’s strategic vision and objectives. This includes deployment of an effective procedures and monitoring system on the outsourced service providers and promptly monitor and maintain the various quality indicators for the department.

You will be responsible for the implementations of policies and work procedures to align with the Hospital strategic goals and foster cohesive teamwork and staff development within the departments.

In addition, you will be expected to undertake and manage quality improvement and development works in the Hospital, as well as supporting new initiatives and workplans from the SingHealth Environmental Services Shared Services workgroup. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from recognized institution with minimum 8 years of working experience, preferably in healthcare or in hospitality industry, and at least 2 years in Managerial / Supervisory experience

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent in planning, organisational, analytical and decision-making abilities

• Able to work individually on assignments, collaboratively within, and across teams to achieve shared goals

• Good leadership, team player and strong collaborator. Meticulous with attention to details

• Independent worker, possess initiative to complete tasks and projects assigned

• Ability to multi-task
