IoT / Cloud Systems Engineer - #1133656

We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking IoT / Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping secure, scalable, and innovative IoT and cloud solutions that support mission-critical operations.

1 Year Project Renewable assignment under Agency

Mon to Fri Office hours only

Jobscope:

a) Engage business users to gather and evaluate requirements and use cases.

b) Turn requirements and use cases into system architectures and designs.

d) Perform risk assessment with business users and provide guidance for end-to-end system integration in terms for cybersecurity and sensor connectivity.

e) Lead the project alongside business users and vendors to ensure project delivery and sustainability.

f) Develop and implement process to ensure smooth operation and security of IoT devices and systems.

g) Perform system administration duties to manage and support highly available ICT infrastructure environment and related operations, which includes monitoring, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, system recoveries and periodic updates and patches of servers.

h) Provide technical leadership through innovation, research, and evaluation of IoT/Cloud technologies and solutions.

i) Work along side with the stakeholder such as Subject Matters Experts to ensure projects developed are compliance to HDB Requirement.

j) Any other tasks related to IoT/OT as assigned by the supervisors.

Job Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with:

   • AWS cloud development & deployment

   • Data Lake/Warehouse technologies

   • Microservices / loosely coupled architectures

   • CI/CD, Terraform, cloud-enabled automation

   • IoT/OT security lifecycle concepts

   • IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, LoRa, Zigbee) and device management

3. Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

4. A proactive, solution-driven mindset with strong ownership.
