Assistant Engineer, System (Contract) - #1133648

Job Description:

• Closely collaborate with Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within timeline, cost and scope

• Manage and oversee project documentations and subcontractor matters

• Perform System Setup, testing of equipment, resolve technical issues

• Would be good to have basic understanding in CCTV

• Basic setup of Network switches and able to perform network check and IP address configuration of all the network devices

• Testing of products indoor/ outdoor

• Able to work in remote areas under the hot environment

• Able to work till late night during night testing

Job Requirements:

• Good interpersonal skills, strong organizational and coordination skills

• Knowledge in any of the following will be a strong plus:

• Proficient in Networking and Windows OS

• Setup and install access control system e.g., key manage system, CCTV, card reader or gantry

• Able to perform work independently and a team player

• Working location: Toggle between STE office and project sites

• Working hours: Mon to Fri, 0830 to 1800H. Will be expected to work beyond these days and timing dependent on work exigence.

• Free office parking and claimable site visit trips.

• Contract role: 1 year Contract first. Conversion to permanent position is very much determined by work performance

• What types of the project will be handling: Inhouse Security projects

• Security clearances are required? yes, local born Singaporeans for ease of clearance.

• Delegate mentors and new employee training will be provided for engineer to get on track and be prepared.
