Finance Officer (Costing) - #1133629

Responsibilities: 

• Key responsibilities: Costing, Fixed Assets Management, Inventory Control, Gross Margin Analysis and 1 overseas legal entity financial accounting, reporting, tax and budget matters

• Responsible for product costing and costs analysis

• Perform month end closing activities and reporting

• Perform year end activities such as inventory stock take, update SAP activity rates, budgeting and statutory financial statement audit matters

• Prepare cost statements, documents and liaise with Custom on Free Trade Agreement matters, annual & ad hoc basis for new products.

• Perform product cost simulations and provide cost information/reports for use by management and various departments in making business decisions

• Safeguard company’s assets and perform annual assets check

• Review and manage inventory at optimal level 

• Monthly review of Sales and Margin to identify drivers (vol, price, mix etc) of Gross Margin performance and prepare reports

• Manage and improve freight cost reporting process 

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Programs

• Work on ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Accountancy

• Min 3-5 years Costing experience in a manufacturing environment

• Audit experience will be an added advantage

• Preferably those with knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system & MS Excel

• Good analytical skills, meticulous and be able to work within deadlines

• Strong teamwork and communication skills; able to deal with colleagues from other departments
