System Engineer | $ 7000 - #1133621

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure resources.

• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and capacity-planning exercises.

• Maintain storage (SAN/NAS) and backup systems, ensuring compliance with recovery objectives.

• Manage and administer VMware vSphere/ ESXi environments, including clusters, hosts, resource pools, and virtual machines.

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and/or Linux servers.

• Carry out regular system patching, updates, and security hardening for servers and virtual platforms.

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related system services.

• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.

• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and change controls.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business projects and infrastructure initiatives.

• Ensuring infrastructure meets cybersecurity and compliance requirements.

• System health check, infra knowledge, infra log analysis and resolution for infra system issue and/or incident.

• Provide enterprise-wide support to a high level of Microsoft Windows, VMware and Linux.

• Provide standby support in a 24/7 environment and would require working on-call every month.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or system administration of various aspect.

• Possess initiative, positive attitude and strong passion in operation support.

• Good communication skills and able to work independently.

• Preferable to have MongoDB, VMware NSX experience and Linux.
