Senior Quantity Surveyor (Tender & Estimation) – Main Construction / Developer - #1133429

●       Construction - Main Con (A1) – Listed Company

●       Basic $4600 to $6800 (Depends on experience)

●       Working location: Tai Seng (Company Transport Provided)

●       Working hours: 8:30am to 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and prepare cost estimates for tender submissions.

• Lead, guide, and review trade cost comparison sheets to ensure they follow the specifications and drawings, with no exclusions.

• Source, assess, and follow up with suppliers and subcontractors to secure timely and competitive quotations.

• Carry out quantity take-offs for structural and architectural works, and prepare detailed cost breakdowns based on drawings, specifications, and requirements.

• Review and verify the quantity take-offs prepared by Quantity Surveyors to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Interpret tender documents (including drawings, specifications, and contracts) to fully understand the project scope.

• Identify and report any discrepancies in tender drawings and specifications and raise clarification queries promptly.

• Provide accurate cost inputs and supporting data according to tender submission requirements.

• Ensure all deliverables are accurate, consistent, and submitted on time.

• Lead, coach, and mentor junior Quantity Surveyors to ensure knowledge sharing, professional growth, and alignment with company standards.

• Assign tasks and monitor the progress of the team.

• Coordinate internally to ensure tender submissions are complete.

• Create and maintain tender documentation, databases, and cost libraries for accurate and efficient future reference.

• Prepare full handover documentation for project teams after award to ensure a smooth transition from tender to project execution.

• Liaise with consultants and internal project teams to clarify tender requirements and resolve technical or contractual issues.

Requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry

• At least 2 years of experience in tendering roles
