The Role
As Assistant Grant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting grant administration and sanitation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging directly with potential applicants through one-on-one outreach sessions.
Conducting cold calls and liaising with coffeeshop operators to raise awareness of available grants.
Explaining grant eligibility criteria and application requirements clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Carrying out preliminary checks and verifications of applications, including site inspections.
Reviewing submitted documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with guidelines.
Managing communications with applicants and stakeholders, including bridging language barriers when necessary.
Assisting applicants in fulfilling grant requirements and providing ongoing support throughout the process.
Contributing to sanitation-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
We seek a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can thrive in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should have:
1–2 years of relevant work experience, preferably in grants administration or public engagement.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
A meticulous approach with strong attention to detail.
Prior experience in processing grants or managing public outreach activities (advantageous but not mandatory).
