Job Summary:

The Project Engineer (Mechanical) is responsible for managing the installation of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) system in buildings.

This role involves leading a team of competent supervisors and skilled workers in procuring materials, equipment and manpower, coordinating with stakeholders, installation of the ACMV system as well as conduct of testing and commissioning of the ACMV system.

Job Description:

• To coordinate with main contractor, MEP contractors as well as other trades subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of works.

• To provide technical guidance and support to supervisors and skilled workers in executing their works according to technical specifications and drawings, we well as prevailing codes and regulations.

• To ensure smooth execution of works in timely manner to meet project schedule.

• To ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and Company policies.

• To implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well beings of employees and customers.

• To stay informed about emerging technologies and methodologies in air-conditioning repair and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines

• Proven experience in management and execution of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) works.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.

• Certification of ACMV systems or related field is advantageous.
