Responsibilities
· Customer Relationship Management & Sales
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all commercial and project-related inquiries.
- Understand customer needs and translate them into project requirements.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure project deliverables meet their satisfaction
- Drive the sales process, including lead generation, discovery, technical presentations, proposal
creation, and contract negotiation for projects involving custom automation and laser systems.
· Stakeholder & Project Liaison
- Act as the crucial link between the Customer and Internal Project Teams
- Facilitate regular communication and conduct project reviews with the customer post-sale to
track progress, manage expectations, and address any potential scope changes or delays.
- Ensure smooth project transition from the sales phase to the execution phase, ensuring all
contractual obligations, technical specifications, and delivery timelines are clearly documented
and communicated.
- Collaborate with the Technical Project Manager to manage customer-driven scope creep and
negotiate necessary change orders and financial impacts.
· Technical Expertise
- Possess a basic knowledge and strong conceptual understanding of industrial laser technology
and automation systems.
- Evaluate and select appropriate laser systems and components for project requirements.
- Manage project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Effectively communicate the value proposition and technical capabilities of our laser and
automation solutions to customers.
• Team Leadership
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.
Requirements:-
Bachelor's degree in engineering/ mechanical, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales project management, preferably in the laser industry.
Proven track record of successful project delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
Strong technical knowledge of laser systems and applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to travel to India or domestic to customer site (50% of time)
Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients
