Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) - #1132816

Job Description:

• Responsible for overseeing and carrying out all works relating to the safety, health and environmental matters in the project.

• Work closely with project team & contractors to mitigate and control all high risk hazards to maintain a safe workplace.

• Ensure overall compliance and good procedures/practices in statutory environmental and health requirements at project site and requirement premises at all time.

• To identify any unsafe condition in the worksite or unsafe work practice is carried out in the worksite.

• Implement and monitor environmental, health & safety management system on site.

• Prepare, submit statutory reports and maintain of documentation for all EHS issues according to ISO.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all site activities are carried out in compliance with MOM, NEA and EHS regulations.

• Liaise with relevant authorities on all environmental and safety issues.

• Support all in-house EHS initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety And Health or MOM recognized certificates.

• Registered Workplace Safety And Health Officer.

• At least 5 years' experience as Workplace Safety and Health Officer in the construction industry.

• Experienced in HDB BTO/HIP projects.

• Excellent team player, good interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

• Must be responsible, organized and self-initiated.

• Respect for deadlines, sense of urgency.
