Software Developer (Web & Android + Kubernetes)- Singaporean Only - #1132783

Responsibilities:

• Develop software based on requirements and design, ensuring high-quality, secure and timely delivery.

• Collaborate with offshore developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.

• Define and enforce development best practices, including documentation, unit testing, CI/CD and security.

• Integrate applications with messaging platforms (Solace, IBM MQ), databases (Oracle via JDBC) and front-end interfaces (web and mobile via WebSocket).

• Monitor and resolve performance and security issues in applications.

• Promote engineering excellence across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

• 3+ years of software development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with:

  • Java EE (IBM WebSphere) and Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Node.js; AngularJS is a plus

  • OpenShift/Kubernetes, Docker/Podman

  • Messaging platforms such as Solace PubSub+ and IBM MQ

  • Oracle DB, SQL, JDBC, REST APIs, WebSocket, SSO, and web caching

• Experience with development effort estimation and delivery.

• Familiarity with mobile web delivery (Flutter/Dart) and server-driven UI rendering.

• Experience leading distributed development teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes certification

• Experience with performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter)

• Knowledge of container security, compliance practices, and secure coding remediation
