Interior Design Consultant (Sales-Focused)
Job Responsibilities
Actively source, develop, and manage new client opportunities through enquiries, referrals, and follow-ups
Meet clients to understand their requirements, budget, and timeline, and convert leads into confirmed projects
Propose suitable interior design and furniture solutions that meet client needs and maximise sales value
Prepare and present design concepts, quotations, and proposals to close deals
Conduct client presentations, site visits, and consultations as required
Drive the full sales cycle from initial enquiry to contract signing and handover to the project team
Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and revenue KPIs
Build strong, long-term client relationships to generate repeat business and referrals
Work closely with designers, project, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution post-sale
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Sales, or related discipline
Proven track record in interior design sales, renovation, furniture, or related industries
Strong closing, negotiation, and presentation skills
Target-driven, self-motivated, and resilient in a sales environment
Customer-focused with the ability to upsell and cross-sell design solutions
Willing to attend client meetings, site visits, and presentations
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or design software is an advantage
