Role Overview
Manage procurement activities to support construction projects
Ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of materials and services
Support the team with other assigned administrative duties
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies
Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
Maintain and expand the supplier and vendor network
Monitor market trends, pricing, and material availability
Coordinate with project, operations, and finance teams on procurement requirements
Ensure compliance with Company policies and relevant regulations
Prepare procurement reports and cost comparisons where required
Identify opportunities to improve processes and achieve cost savings
Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining master lists for various procurement and operation categories
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably in the construction industry
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with procurement systems, ERP, and data analysis tools (preferred but not mandatory)
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Organised, with good filing, sorting, and report-keeping skills
