Nanyang Institute of Social Sciences (NISS) is an institute of higher education registered with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) under the Ministry of Education of Singapore, aiming to create a lifelong learning platform that incorporates quality higher education resources from the East and the West. We are now inviting applications for the position of Senior Admissions Counsellor, responsible for managing the admissions process and supporting prospective students from inquiry to enrollment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and apply admission policies, provide professional guidance and consultation on programs, and achieve enrollment targets.

  • Guide prospective students through the full admission process, including applications and interviews, ensuring smooth enrollment.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to expand recruitment channels and support program promotion.

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective students and corporate partners, enhancing the school’s brand influence.

  • Collect and analyze enrollment data, identify trends and opportunities, and optimize admission processes and strategies.

  •  Support recruitment events and open houses, ensuring smooth execution and providing expert on-site guidance.

  • Assist in managing the admissions system and related records, ensuring accurate and complete information.

  • Track prospective students’ needs and feedback, and propose improvements to the enrollment process and experience.

  • Maintain close communication with other departments to ensure admission efforts align with the school’s overall strategic goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in sales, marketing, key account management, or the higher education sector.

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to details and accuracy in tracking and managing admissions for academic programmes.

  • Observant in identifying process, operational, and service gaps, and able to propose solutions

  • Self-driven with a high level of autonomy, while also being a team player.

  • Ability to set priorities and multi-task effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage and consult with prospective students.
