As an Emergency Medical Technician [EMT], you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance at the scene

• Evaluate the condition of sick or injured individuals to decide the necessary level of treatment.

• Provide pre-hospital care to stabilize patients before transportation.

• Safely and efficiently transport patients to hospitals or medical centers for continued care.

• Properly and safely use all medical equipment within the ambulance.

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of ambulance tools and equipment to ensure they are always operational. 

Requirements:

• Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) by SAF or SCDF
