The Technology Director is responsible for defining and leading the company’s overall technology strategy, ensuring that systems, platforms, and digital capabilities effectively support business growth, operational efficiency, and client delivery. This role provides leadership across technology, digital solutions, infrastructure, security, and innovation, while working closely with business stakeholders and regional teams
Key responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership
Define and execute the company’s technology roadmap aligned with business objectives
Advise senior management on technology trends, risks, and opportunities
Ensure technology decisions support scalability, security, and long-term sustainability
Systems, Platforms, & Infrastructure
Oversee all core systems including applications, cloud infrastructure, networks, and internal tools
Ensure reliability, performance, and availability of all technology platforms
Drive system improvements, upgrades, and integrations
Digital & Interactive Solutions
Support delivery of digital, web, app, event tech, and interactive solutions for clients
Work closely with Creative, Account Servicing, and Experiential teams to ensure feasibility and quality
Ensure best practices in UX, development standards, and technical execution
Governance, Security & Risk
Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and governance frameworks
Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and internal controls
Oversee business continuity, disaster recovery, and risk mitigation
People & Vendor Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the technology and IT teams
Manage external vendors, partners, and consultants
Oversee technology budgets, contracts, and cost optimisation
Regional & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Support regional offices on technology needs and alignment
Partner with Finance, HR, and Operations on system and process improvements
Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
8 to 10 years of relevant experience in technology, IT, or digital solutions
Proven experience leading small to mid-size technology teams
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, security, and modern digital technologies
Experience working with business stakeholders in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
