HR Associate
The HR Associate supports daily HR operations for a multi-outlet QSR brand. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone starting their HR career and looking to learn frontline HR, recruitment, payroll support, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Hiring Support
o Support high-volume frontline hiring.
o Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
o Track hiring status using simple trackers or ATS.
o Coordinate pre-employment checks and onboarding documentation.
2. Onboarding & Employee Administration
o Prepare onboarding packs and first-day checklists
o Collect and verify employee documents
o Maintain accurate employee records (digital and physical).
o Update HR systems with new hires, transfers, and exits.
3. Payroll, Attendance & Leave Support
o Assist in payroll preparation
· Attendance records
· Overtime
· Leave balances
o Flag discrepancies and follow up with outlets.
o Respond to basic payroll and leave queries.
o Ensure deadlines are met and records are complete.
4. Outlet & Frontline HR Support
o Act as first point of contact for basic HR questions from outlet teams
o Support outlet managers with:
· Attendance tracking
· Documentation
· Policy clarification
o Escalate disciplinary or sensitive issues to HR Lead promptly
5. Employee Relations & Compliance Support
o Assist with documentation for disciplinary cases.
o Track warning letters and case files.
o Ensure HR documents are audit-ready.
o Support work pass or statutory documentation where applicable.
6. HR Projects & Improvement
o Support HR initiatives such as:
· Employee engagement activities
· Training coordination
· Policy rollouts
o Help maintain HR trackers and dashboards.
o Identify admin or process gaps and suggest improvements.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in:
Human Resources
Business
Psychology
Or related fields
0–2 years of HR or admin experience
Internship or part-time HR experience is a plus
Skills & Attributes
Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable with repetitive admin work
Willing to learn and take feedback
Good communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced, frontline environment
