We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with experience in the predictive maintenance industry. The successful candidate will be a certified vibration analyst with demonstrated expertise in balancing, alignment, vibration diagnostics, and ultrasound diagnostics. The role involves performing on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment, and preparing comprehensive technical and analytical reports to support asset reliability and performance improvement initiatives.
What you'll be doing
Conduct predictive maintenance inspections using vibration analysis, ultrasound, and other condition monitoring techniques.
Perform balancing, alignment, and vibration diagnostics on rotating machinery and other industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical recommendations to enhance operational reliability.
Prepare detailed technical and analytical reports, documenting findings, corrective actions, and maintenance recommendations.
Assist clients in interpreting condition monitoring data and implementing corrective measures.
Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules, site visits, and troubleshooting activities.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
Provide training and guidance to clients and junior engineers on predictive maintenance practices and equipment operation.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within predictive maintenance programs and reliability practices.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
Certified Vibration Analyst (Level I, II, or III preferred).
Proven experience in balancing, alignment, vibration diagnostics, and ultrasound diagnostics.
Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing technical and diagnostic reports.
Hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team collaboration.
Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
Familiarity with predictive maintenance software and diagnostic tools.
In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery, motors, and industrial equipment.
Ability to mentor and train junior engineers or technicians.
