Field Service Engineer - #1131249

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with experience in the predictive maintenance industry. The successful candidate will be a certified vibration analyst with demonstrated expertise in balancing, alignment, vibration diagnostics, and ultrasound diagnostics. The role involves performing on-site inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment, and preparing comprehensive technical and analytical reports to support asset reliability and performance improvement initiatives.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct predictive maintenance inspections using vibration analysis, ultrasound, and other condition monitoring techniques.

• Perform balancing, alignment, and vibration diagnostics on rotating machinery and other industrial equipment.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical recommendations to enhance operational reliability.

• Prepare detailed technical and analytical reports, documenting findings, corrective actions, and maintenance recommendations.

• Assist clients in interpreting condition monitoring data and implementing corrective measures.

• Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules, site visits, and troubleshooting activities.

• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and client requirements.

• Provide training and guidance to clients and junior engineers on predictive maintenance practices and equipment operation.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives within predictive maintenance programs and reliability practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Certified Vibration Analyst (Level I, II, or III preferred).

• Proven experience in balancing, alignment, vibration diagnostics, and ultrasound diagnostics.

• Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing technical and diagnostic reports.

• Hands-on experience in industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and team collaboration.

• Willingness to travel to client sites as required.

• Familiarity with predictive maintenance software and diagnostic tools.

• In-depth knowledge of rotating machinery, motors, and industrial equipment.

• Ability to mentor and train junior engineers or technicians.
