SAFETY OFFICER / COORDINATOR (WSHO / WSHC) - #1131227

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Safety Officer / Coordinator (WSHO/WSHC) to join the team at CHL CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust safety policies and procedures to ensure full compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In charge of general site safety in order to achieve smooth project progress

• Keep updates on OHS regulations pertaining to the WSH Act.

• Accountable for implementing, executing and monitoring of WSH management system.

• Implementation of Risk Management

• Accountable for investigating, analyzing and determining cause of any incident, accident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease within the workplace and recommending means of preventing recurrence.

• Ensures adequate training/retraining programs are identified and conducted to equip staff with sufficient skills and knowledge on WSH Management.

• Implementing, executing and monitoring of Environmental Control Programs

• In charge of project Consass or client initiated audits

• Assist in company ISO, SS506 and GGBS audits

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in construction industry

• Experience with CONSASS, GGBS, ISO45001& ISO14001

• Proactive with excellent interpersonal skills and analytical ability
